1968.5 Ford Mustang, GT, 1967-1968 Shelby Mustang GT500, 1967-1968 Ford Fairlane, Torino, Mercury Comet, Cyclone, 1968 Cougar, GT, XR7, XR7-G, GT-E.  ..         Toploader 4-Speed Transmission Tail Shaft Extension Housing. ‘Cast-Iron’.    FOR Cars with 427-428 Motor and 31-Spline Large Output Shaft.  This is a very rare to find tail shaft.  This is an ORIGINAL FORD PART.    The Housing is Cast C6OR-7A040-D and W1 and Dated [K12]  . .   Measures 14″ Length…  Removed from one of the 1968.5 Mustang 135 series 428CJ Fastbacks.      The Housing is in Great Condition.  One of the trans mount ears was broken and someone did an absolutely horrible job of welding a nut on to it.  This will need to be properly repaired.  NO other Cracks or damage anywhere.  Nice Metal,. No Rust. The Inside looks Great.
