1962 Mercury Monterey, Custom, S-55, Hardtop, Sedan, Convertible.    …………  ORIGINAL REAR QUARTER PANEL ‘MONTEREY’ SCRIPT EMBLEM.    This is an ORIGINAL FORD PART.   Casting Number (FoMoCo) and C2MB-54291A36-A on the Backside.. Removed from a 1962 Mercury Monterey. ..  . ..   The Emblem is in Great Original Condition,  . The Emblem has Bright Chrome.   There are some age lines and freckles on the chrome and some pits at the inner mount edge. . Not pitted all over. .. ..No Rust or Corrosion.   No Cracks or Splits. Very Straight.   Has Great Mounting Pins.   Will Mount Great and Look Great..  Can Be Rechromed..  Overall, This is a Great Original ‘Monterey’ Emblem… IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ORIGINAL ..
